A2 Research Outline

I have decided to research a number of different genres, bands and establishment in terms of Digi Packs and its components to see what avenues I wish to take in terms of my coursework. Also to get an in-depth understanding of the methods used conventionally by different genres, as well as the unconventional methods used which are very popular with a target audience such a Daft Punk. Hopefully from this I will be able to identify the intertexuality between all the combinations to a Digi Pack such as CD cover, single videos, posters and single covers.
3 xs Digi Packs of various artists and genres such as take that (Pop), Daft Punk (Techno), American Rejects (Rock).
5x Poster Analysis on a variation of genres and acts
3x Single Covers and links with album covers
Video Research in terms of possible ideas and direction in preferences in terms of target audience
Research into methods or directing and case studies on various Directors of various genres
Finally a Questionnaire to establish a target audience, my direction in terms of ideas for the components of my own Digi pack and there preferences in terms of Mise-on-scene, style and genre as they are the most important factor.
